There have been record numbers of people coming to Cameron's hot meal program during the past 2 months (April & May).  We served 1000 more meals in April 2010 then we did in April 2009.  In May we served almost 1500 more meals than the year before.  As summer approaches we are preparing for record numbers.  When school is closed, kids do not get a free breakfast or lunch at school.  Many more families turn to Cameron for help.  We are expecting 50-75 more kids per meal this summer.

During summer months our donation drives are down.  School, youth groups and church groups go on vacation.  While our pantry may seem full, each meal we serve, we use 45- 70 cans from our pantry.

We are in need of groups or individuals to hold canned food drives, fresh fruits and vegetables from gardens are ok too!
